New Beginnings:

I've had a rough go of it lately. I was surrendered in the Royse City raid. You may have heard about it on TV. I'm now safe and sound in the loving arms of BRAT. I know my future looks bright from here on out. No matter what I've been through I'm still very sweet and friendly. All who know me loves me. I'm now ready to start a new chapter in my life where I will be cherished and treasured. All I need Is love!

Update: Kelly had a bump that appeared almost overnight on her abdomen. Pathology revealed it was a mast cell tumor. She quickly had surgery to remove the tumor. Pathology suggested that wider margins were needed due to the type of tumor. A second surgery was performed and no mast cell tumors were present in that tisdued at was excised. No further treatment is needed! We will watch for any further suspicious bumps. 

Foster Family Update: Kelly is a very easy dog and a good girl. She seems to do well with all people. She can do well as an only dog or one of two dogs. A quiet, calm home environment would be wonderful due to her past history of abuse in the hoarding situation. She needs a family who wants to give her lots of love and belly rubs. That seems to be all she requires.
