If you're looking for a small, petite basset, Brittany is your gal. She was picked up in Mansfield as a stray. She looks like she's had puppies recently. She is a sweetheart and is looking for a home. She's new to our rescue. Check back for updates as we get to know her better.

Update July 27, 2011: Brittany's a love bug. The foster family reports she's a great dog and very easy to have around. If you sit down, expect a small basset to be in your lap! She's definitely a Velcro dog. Brittany is getting along famously with the other dogs in her foster home. She loves to play, but not for a long time. If the other two are still playing and she's had enough, she's very content to chill out.

Brittany is very laid-back. When the energy of the home picks up, she's right in the thick of it. However, she's quite content to lay back on the couch with you and watch TV. She loves the show, "The Bachelorette" and can't wait to see which man Ashley picks. If you're looking for a great gal, you need to pick Brittany!
